Apart from Mallorca’s climate, landscape, orography and cultural and artistic wealth, the island has another fundamental factor that has led the island to become one of Europe’s most important tourist destinations: its coastline. The beaches and coves in Mallorca have a special charm.
The sandbanks and little coves in the south of the island are characterised by their fine, white sand and turquoise sea. While in the north, the Tramuntana mountain range leads to generally rocky beaches and coves, surrounded by cliffs and green mountains, plus a much more intense sea colour.
There are two lovely beaches near Sa Bassa Plana: Es Trenc and Cala Pí. We suggest you go check them out!
If you’re still hungry for more, you’ll find an excellent selection of the islands beaches and coves on this page. Enjoy!
